Antonietta Collins
Antonietta Toniz Collins is also referred to as Antonietta Gonzales-Collins in the US and Mexico, is an American Mexican sportscaster. She anchors SportsNation and serves as an anchor for SportsCenter anchor. She started working for ESPN in the year 2016. Her mother is the TV reporter Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins is bilingual and has been since when she was nine years old. This skill has helped her get her first position at Univision, Miami. She was able to work as a producer for national programs such as Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. Her first job was as a reporter for CBS St. Petersburg. CBS St. Petersburg affiliate after that. Then she moved from St. Petersburg to Rio Grande Valley in 2009 to work as a reporter on one of the Spanish channels KNVO TV 48 Univision, as well as Fox2 News. In 2009, she moved into Rio Grande Valley, Texas, where she became an editor for KNVO48 Univision and Fox2 News. Also, she was often requested to fill in as a sports and weather anchor. Deportes 23 is Univision Dallas' affiliate, where she takes on more responsibility. She covered events like the Major League Baseball ALDS ALCS World Series, the Dallas Cowboys and the NBA Postseason and the finals for FC Dallas FC Dallas Stars. She also produced Univision 23's local sports program Accion Deportiva Extra, on which she served as anchor. She was advertised as anchoring sports to Despierta America Deportes' morning show. Also, she was an anchor on sports on Primer Impacto, a magazine program that airs on the UniMas Network and Contacto Deportivo. Antonietta Collins' grandparents were originally from Veracruz Mexico. The family were moved from Veracruz Mexico to Mexico City where she was born on the 22nd of November, 1985. There is also a younger sibling. She has an older sister. In 1992, the couple divorced and shortly afterward in 1995 she was remarried Fabio Fajardo, naval engineer, who passed away in the year 2006 due to kidney cancer. Her residence was in Canton Ohio with her older sister over the summer in which she was offered a job. Antonietta had just graduated high school but already knew what she was going to do. The result was that she enjoyed the university as well as the fact that it had the program she desired. She graduated from high school and enrolled into media school at the University. Her professor Mark Bergmann, who managed WRMU FM, and was part of her class, developed an ongoing friendship with the student. It was he who inspired her confidence, and his passion for journalism deeply touched her. She determined to meet his demands and never let him down.
